RJR was started in 1993 as a geology and geotechnical consulting firm specializing in complex hillside developments. During this time, as a result of prior expertise, RJR was regularly retained by local private Civil Engineering firms to perform drainage and hydrology studies. As the company developed advanced engineering analysis techniques, RJR initiated civil engineering and hydrology techniques to compliment the geotechnical advances. In 1998s RJR formed a civil engineering division which has grown from doing select hillside developments and landslide repairs into small to large tracts, sewer treatment facilities, commercial developments and capital improvement projects.
In the mid-2000's, RJR made a commitment to expand into the Public Sector to provide agencies engineering consulting, inspection and review services. This decision was based on part with the legal training of the owner and staff as well as technical and experience of the company.
The ability of RJR to work effectively and continue to grow in the public and private sector is a direct result of our high standard of technical knowledge, good communication and experience.
